Technology has become such a impactful tool in the teaching community.  For me, it was important to learn more about this growing skill.  I felt taking my Master's classes in the technology field would not only benefit me as a teacher, but benefit me as a student as well.  Throughout my Master's program I have learned so much more about using technology in the classroom then I could have imagined.

Making an Online Course

This is the project I am most proud of.  The point of this course was to create an online course.  This was something I had never experienced before.  For the first time I felt like I had a solid  project I could bring back, update, and use in my own personal classroom.  I also felt like the skills I learned will help me in the future of any classroom I teach.  I had a few of my students test the site while making it.  This was a HUGE hit! Although my students haven't used the site yet, I know this is something I will continue to use with them.  This was also the first time I was introduced to new types of online sources.

Inquiry Based PowerPoint

This class was based on three big projects.  The first project was the first time I was really able to see what students were capable of doing on the internet.  This project also showed a different technique of presenting (powerpoint) that I fell comfortable and confident about.   I am proud of the way this project turned out.

TE 831
YouTube/Video Making

This was the first project I made during my Master's program.  The purpose of this project was to create a project we would use in the classroom and upload it to YouTube or an online site. This was also the first project I was able to share with my students and with my school.

EDU 800
Theories

This was probably one of the most challenging courses for me.  This was the first course I did not have a choice in.  It was one of the required classes for my Master's program.  I am most proud of these essay's I wrote.  The first easy, Truth, Beauty and Goodness, was the first time in the course that the book really stuck with me and allowed me to flourish as a student.  I was really able to connect with the book and my essay.  The second essay, Whalerider, was the first time I was able to analyze a video I watched for the course.  I have never had to chance to analyze a video before taking this course.  This was just one essay that broadened my abilities as a learner.

Wrap up: Report

CEP 816 was one of the later classes I took during my program.  My final report in the class allowed me to take all I had learned, what connected with me the most, as well as ideas I had gathered from my peers throughout the course.  It was a true reflection of how I felt about my teaching goals.  I am proud of the way my final report turned out.

Digging Deeper into Students: Report

My final project for TE 846 was my largest project I have done for my Master's program. I was to study and analyze two of my students based on their literacy. This allowed me to learn more about the two students I choose and really dig deep into certain habits and understandings they have. I learned a lot about my students through this assignment.

Inquiry Based YouTube Video

This class was based on three big projects.  The thing I liked most about my last project (inquiry 3) was the hands on aspect of actually doing science experiments.  You will be able to see this hands on practice in the video provided.  This was also my first real interaction with working with peers via the internet.  We were assigned partners from all over.
